Quincunx (150°)
Orb: 3°
Two planets that don't speak the same language. Also called inconjunct.
Geometry
150° apart — five signs apart — with no shared element, no shared mode, and signs that don't relate to each other at all.
What it does
The quincunx is the adjustment aspect. The two planets aren't fighting and they aren't flowing — they're just incompatible, in a way that's hard to even describe. The native has to constantly adjust between the two domains. Awkward but not destructive. Often shows up as health-body issues (different system, different language).
Example in a chart
Sun quincunx Moon: who I think I am (Sun) and what I emotionally need (Moon) speak different dialects. The native is forever 'translating'.
When it forms in the current sky
Quincunx transits are the small frustrations of the week — never enough to break anything, but enough to remind you adjustment is required.
